NEW MOON IN LIBRA OCTOBER 2018: Karmic, Transformative, Erotic

NEW MOON IN LIBRA OCTOBER 2018

The New Moon takes place at 15°48’ of the Sign of Libra. It mainly affects Libra and Aries Signs and also Cancer and Capricorn Signs which are born in the second decan, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 13° -17° degrees of the Cardinal Cross.

Venus is moving retrograde in Scorpio and since it is the ruling planet of this New Moon, those of the Fixed Signs born in the first decan, will also intensely feel the energy of this lunation.

New Moon in Libra occurs on the night of October the 8th or later on, from the early hours towards the morning of October the 9th, depending on which part of the world you live in.

Each New Moon brings something new.

It is a time of blending of our intentions and our emotions, a union that creates a feeling of completeness that fills us with excitement. It is a fresh start or a re-start.

When the New Moon falls in the Sign of Libra, communication and socializing is sparked up, since this is an Air Sign ruled by Venus, and social or personal relationships are the focus of attention.

When the Sun is in Libra, it is according to Traditional Astrology in the Sign of its fall. With the Sun here our ego is lessened, and it is willing to make the necessary compromises for the sake of others, because its goal is to experience union in relationships and what peaceful co-existence means.

The Moon, when in Libra, stirs within us the need to belong or the longing to be needed. The utmost need of the Moon here is to find a balance between inner peace and sharing with important others.

Every New Moon in Libra is a time where perfect mutual resonance of emotions between us and our closest persons may be experienced.

The Three Astrological Factors

This specific New Moon in Libra comes two weeks after a Full Moon in the Sign of Aries. Then it was a time where we experienced a difficult culmination of pent up and wounded emotions. A Dark Night of the Soul that held a promise for healing.

Now there is a potential for starting again.

If we examine the astrological chart of this New Moon we find that there are three astrological characteristics that when combined give to this lunation a unique nature.

New Moon in Libra October 2018

The first is that at the very time that this New Moon takes place, Venus, its ruling planet, is retrograde in the Sign of Scorpio.

This is something that has only happened twice in the past fifty years.

The first time was the New Moon on October the 30th 1970, when Venus was retrograde at 23°23’ of Scorpio, and the second was the New Moon on October the 7th 2010, when Venus was at the time stationary retrograde at Scorpio 13°13’.

Now, once again, the promise of this New Moon has a strong karmic feeling and is simultaneously charged with passionate eroticism.

Jealousy, possessiveness and retrospective moods affects the way that the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius) relate, especially those that which are born in the first decan.

The second is that the two Lights are in an applying square to Pluto in Capricorn.

Pluto is a planet that works in a deep psychological layer and this aspect brings desire for control and dominance that fuels up the obsessive way that Venus in Scorpio relates.

It is at the same time an aspect that holds the transformative potential of this New Moon. A transformation that is found in our ability to suppress manipulative behaviours, either they stem from ourselves or coming from others, and to instead share deep connection and deepen our emotional bond.

The third is that the New Moon in Libra vibes with erotic intensity.

Venus is playing an important role for this New Moon since it is its ruling planet.

Retrograde and within the Scorpio part of the Via Combusta, Venus expresses love in its most introverted, relates in a martyred way, and is intrigued by Mars male assertion.

Venus when in Scorpio is ruled by Mars, according to traditional astrology, and in this New Moon, Venus is at the same time in an applying aspect to Mars in Aquarius. This is a double astrological affinity that reinforces the connection of the two planets. It is an aspect that combines passive romance with unconventional desire.

It is pure animal magnetism, sexually charged.

All these factors combined together make this New Moon in Libra to have, an intense, karmic, erotic and transformative effect.

What may happen under this New Moon and depending on where it falls in your personal chart?

  • Past unrequited loves may re-kindle and what had not been in the past to be now.
  • Past lovers may re-appear and depending on our past experience we may choose to give them a second chance or to completely give up the whole idea. Yes… the past is a strange place.
  • The potential for a new transforming relationship is strong especially if Venus or the New Moon falls on the 5th, 7th or 8th house of your personal horoscope.
  • Interactions and conversations fraught with sexual tension are to be expected especially if Venus or the New Moon falls on the 5th or 8th house of your chart.
  • Existing relationships undergo a period of re-examination. Remember, a loving relationship should share the Libra ideals of balance and fairness and not to be jealous and possessive (Venus in Scorpio Rx).
  • Power plays and manipulation the Scorpio way are brought to the surface and they either stop and the relationship is refreshed, or the split occurs and we move on to the next one.

The Epilogue is the New Beginning

There is one more aspect that works very positively. Mars from Aquarius is making a trine to the Sun and the Moon in Libra.

This is an aspect that channels the prominence of the Air element of the chart, clears our mind and counter-balances the darker Venusian intensity

It gives energy and a more detached expression to our will and our feelings and moves us towards new beginnings.

This New Moon in Libra is our attempt to restart after the Dark Night of the Soul.

It may bring something new or refresh existing relationships as long as

  • we understand the past,
  • we rationalize our desires,
  • and are not afraid to burn what’s old, if that’s necessary.

I wish everyone an erotic New Moon!

VENUS RETROGRADE IN SCORPIO 2018

VENUS RETROGRADE IN SCORPIO 2018

VENUS RETROGRADE IN SCORPIO 2018

Venus the planet of Love and Beauty will be retrograde, initially within the Sign of Scorpio and later on towards the end of its retrograde motion, within the Sign of Libra, affecting Scorpio, Taurus, Leo and Aquarius Signs that are born in the first decan, as well as Libra, Aries, Cancer and Capricorn Signs that are born in the last days of their Sign.

The Aesthetics of Retrograde

Andy Warhol, in his painting “Details of Renaissance Paintings, Botticelli, Birth of Venus”, is re-visiting Botticelli’s Venus and re-paints her with pop aesthetics in order to comment on the commercialization of the ideal of Love, the superficiality of being vain and to make the viewer stop and ponder on the notions of “relating” and “beauty”.

That is exactly what Planet Venus is callings us to do while in its retrograde period. It triggers a process of re-evaluation of our own self-worth, our own internal beauty. We are called to re-assess the expectations we have from others and at the same time to see how it is that we ourselves relate.

Venus retrograde October – November 2018

Venus, the planet of Love is going to turn retrograde on October the 5th from 10°50’ degrees of Scorpio.

During her retrograde course Venus will appear to move backwards in the night sky, and shall gradually retreat within the sign of Libra on November the 1st. There its retrograde motion will continue until November the 16th when it will finally station direct at 25°15’ of the Libra Sign, before moving direct again.

This is a two thirds journey of backtracking in Scorpio and one third in Libra.

Within Scorpio Venus expresses with the deepest of feelings and fixates on intense pleasure. It demands core bonding with other persons, infuses romance with sex and our connections with deep meaning.

For the period that Venus will be retrograde within the Scorpio, expressions of love will be mostly introvert and will be intrigued by Mars male assertion, Mars being the ruling planet of Scorpio in traditional Astrology.

Venus retrograde in Scorpio is

the smoldering desire of a subdued and submissive romanticism.

Only when the planet enters Libra the feeling will change. Venus will still need to belong but will adopt a lighter mentality in the process of re-evaluating how she relates, seeking more balance in relationships and now capable of seeing the other side.

The Karmic Effect

The very symbolism of Venus moving backwards means that a person from the past may re-appear. If this is the case, it only happens for a reason.

We must “remember” the relationship we have had with this person in the past, what it meant then and what it means now, for our present and for any existing relations or commitments.

We are called to redefine this relation with the past person in a clear and karmic – free way.

Venus in Retrospective Mood

During this forty days Venus retrograde period we turn inwards and wonder:

  • What is that we want from a relationship and from our partner?
  • Do we want to be in a relationship just only for the sake of not being alone?
  • Which are the motivations and our deepest desires?
  • Can we strip away layers of jealousy or control and reach again down to the core of the feelings?
  • Is our relationship superficial, pop and “appearances-only”, lacking meaningful deepest sharing?
  • Are we appreciated as much as we deserve?
  • Do we re-return appreciation and value our partner?

The very nature of these questions, whether we are in a relationship or not, concerns first and most to ourselves and while it mainly relates to love relations it also touches, one to one partnerships, business relations and our socializing in general.

All these questions is a necessary part in this process of introspection that clears out situations, makes us feel better with ourselves and prepares us or a more sociable period when Venus will be again direct.

FULL MOON IN ARIES SEPTEMBER 2018

FULL MOON IN ARIES SEPTEMBER 2018: The Dark Night of the Soul

FULL MOON IN ARIES SEPTEMBER 2018

This Full Moon in Aries will bring tension and tests to the relationships of Aries and Libra Signs and increased responsibility to home and career for Cancer and Capricorn Signs.

Planet Mars in conjunction to the South Node shall affect the Signs of the Fixed Cross (Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio, and Taurus).

This Full Moon has a potent dynamic and depending on where it falls on our personal horoscope it affects all of us that are having personal planets, angles and points in the above Signs, and especially those that are born in the first decan of these Signs.

GET YOUR OWN READING!

An autumnal Full Moon in Aries is taking place on September 24th 2018.

The characterization autumnal is twice appropriate for this full moon, since besides its seasonal character, in addition it describes the mood that this full moon creates.

But let’s take first things first.

This is a Full Moon in Aries. The moon when in the Sign of Aries, though bold it may be, is at the same time an ego-centered, impatient moon that rushes headlong into confrontation if provoked. A Moon placed here makes us to respond quick and immediate to external stimuli, something that now that the Moon is fully lit by the Sun opposite her, is accentuated.

Every full moon is the tension of something culminating or coming to fulfillment and when the Aries Moon is fully opposite the Sun in Libra, the tension is others and relationships.

  • Should we be Competitive or Compromising?
  • Can we two work together?
  • Should we boldly express our needs or should we find delicate ways to make others understand what is that we want of them?

These are some of the themes of this archetypal opposition and this particular Full Moon in Aries brings these issues to the fore and moreover adds a tone of melancholy, heated discussions and embitterment in the whole mix.

Words may hurt

The main players of the Full Moon are each one conjunct to another body. Sun in Libra is making a conjunction with Mercury and Moon a conjunction with Chiron in Aries.

Try to imagine now how the mix is changed. It is very difficult for a person to compromise one opposition, let alone the four ones formed in the Full Moon in Aries chart.

  • Chiron opposes Sun
  • Chiron opposes Mercury
  • Mercury opposes Moon
  • Mercury opposes Chiron

The tension feels like a disagreement between an already wounded and touchy female and an intellectual and diplomatic man that tries to find a way to compromise without succumbing to emotional blackmail.

Especially with this Full Moon where Mercury is conjunct the Sun in Libra, common sense and logic require discussions and a climate of co-operation in order to avoid conflicts.

We have to communicate but at the same time we must be careful of what we are saying and how we are saying it, because Mercury in opposition with the Moon brings difficulties in expression and can make us communicate what we feel in a totally erroneous manner.

The woman’s hurt feelings cannot be easily soothed by the man’s logical approach. Regardless of how balanced and compromising words he may use, the opposition of Chiron to Mercury drags up memories of emotional pain.

“You talk to me with words, I talk to you with feelings”, she says.

Respect, Truth and Warmth

On top of these already over-emotional and stressed oppositions, planet Saturn stands as a merciless judge, being in a square aspect to all participating bodies.

Saturn is once more direct in the Sign of Capricorn from September the 6th, and now demands truth, integrity and responsibility. Within the aspect patterns of this full moon, Saturn is the focal planet of two T-squares that involve the Moon – Chiron conjunction on one side, and the Sun-Mercury conjunction on the other.

So if we include Saturn, we are having four more aspects that cast their gloom and somber tone on the picture.

  • Saturn squares Sun
  • Saturn squares Mercury
  • Saturn squares Moon
  • Saturn squares Chiron

To continue with the illustration I gave before, the man has to balance between being overly strict, resulting in exerting much emotional pressure on one side, and not clearly defining where his limits are, on the other, something that will result in the problem of them being crossed again.

He has to think clearly and be fair, avoiding misunderstandings and his darker expression.

The woman has to find the courage to overcome her sadness and fears and to cope with the situation understanding that it is a natural process towards addressing the relationship issues successfully and result in overall healing and well-being.

She does not have to feel inadequate, on the contrary, the square of Saturn the great teacher with Chiron the wounded healer, is a challenge to treat herself and her partner with respect and genuine warmth. It is the necessary friction that she has to transcend in order to cross the barrier of suffering and communicate her feelings with truth and kindness.

A trigger for closure

That would be the ideal, all of us to be able to grasp the hard aspects and to use them constructively and at will, but as we know this is more easily said than done.

This Full Moon in Aries is a pivotal Full Moon with Mars conjunct the South Node at 4° of the Aquarius Sign, a degree that is triggering the Lunar Eclipse of the 27th of July. All the issues that have emerged from the difficult summer have now to be faced and dealt with, even if risking a possible split or final loss.

Fortunately Mars is direct this time, and it is making a sextile to the Moon in Aries (that it also rules), and a trine to the Sun in Libra. Both aspects easing the tension and aiding discussions and the means to finding a common ground.

But in order to do so Mars demands co-operative spirit, healthy ego and the rationalization of the pent-up emotions in true Aquarian spirit.

We have to be patient also…

This Full Moon in Aries is the Dark Night of the Soul, a night with a potential for transformation through healing both for us and for our relations.

As Joseph Campbell said:

“The Dark Night of the Soul comes just before revelation.

When everything is lost, and all seems darkness, then comes the new life, and all that is needed.”

SOLAR ECLIPSE IN CANCER JULY 2018

SOLAR ECLIPSE IN CANCER – JULY 2018: Long Hot Summer – Part One

SOLAR ECLIPSE IN CANCER – JULY 2018

This summer is marked by three eclipses and many planets being retrograde during the eclipse season. The combination of these astrological factors is something that is relatively rare and it shapes an unpredictable, dynamic and hot landscape.

This particular eclipse is especially important for those who belong to the Signs of the Cardinal Cross (Cancer and Capricorn mainly, as well as Aries, and Libra) and who are born between April 8 – 12, July 11 – 15, October 11 – 15 and January 8 – 12.  Also to those having personal planets or their Ascendant near the 18° – 22° degrees of these Signs.

PERSONAL ECLIPSE READING

Long Hot Summer – Part One

The Solar Eclipse of July 13th is the first of the three eclipses of this summer’s eclipse season. It occurs in the Sign of Cancer, and is followed by a Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius and yet one Solar Eclipse in Leo.

In a sense, it is a first taste of events that will manifest. Events whose impact we will intensely experience, and surely, events that will concern us for the whole duration of the summer, if not for much longer.

An example that easily demonstrates the secular influence that this Solar Eclipse in Cancer might have, not alone, but combined and operating as a triad with the other two that follow it, is:

Issues that relate to homeland (Cancer), cause reactions and peaked collective and political expression (Aquarius), that in its turn, triggers rapid developments regarding leadership figures (Leo).

Does this sound familiar? Is it relating to where you live?

This eclipse is also the first of a series of eclipses that will continue to occur in the Cancer – Capricorn axis, following on for the next two years, up until the summer of 2020 when their cycle will be completed.

The Solar Eclipse of 13th of July takes place in Cancer and so it has to do with family, maternity, home. It has to do with the feeling of warmth and security.

It happens just one day after Jupiter has turned again direct, at a point when we have just concluded an introspective cycle regarding issues of faith and morality.

The events of this eclipse may exactly unsettle this newly formed moral attitude.

A difficult landscape gradually shapes

This Solar Eclipse is unfortunately characterized by a very difficult aspect, since the two Lights are forming an opposition to Pluto in Capricorn. A sharp opposition aspect that is only 40’ minutes away from being exact and so it has strength.

Pluto is already retrograde and the excavation of our soul has already begun. Pluto’s retrograde period is usually felt as a psychological process that seeks regeneration, purification and survival.

Taboo issues, embarrassing or repressed urges, oppressed sexual desires, may have come to the surface as a result of this process.

As a result, Pluto in opposition to the eclipse, may cause violent emotional outbursts, behaviors that have a strong element of manipulation, oppression which we are receiving from others or that we, because of our strong will and our mental strength, are causing to others.

Some examples of how this important eclipse aspect could affect us, always depending on the areas of our personal horoscope where it falls, are:

  • Passions and egoism that we cannot avoid, affect relationships and partnerships in a negative way.
  • Strong emotional stress from issues that relate to our mother (health or other).
  • Strong envy and effort for control of the relationship from the person we are with, or the complete contrary, jealousy and effort to enforce ourselves is expressed by us towards the other person.
  • Conflicts with persons in power and unexpected developments in the workplace prevent our much desired advancement and as a consequence create pressure within the family.
  • Consuming passion causes emotional and existential pressure on our family life.
  • Power games appear in our relationship as a result of our need for recognition.
  • Loss of a loved one.

SOLAR ECLIPSE IN CANCER JULY 2018

In addition to the Pluto aspect, another element that causes increased tension, is the planet Mars that is retrograde in Aquarius and towards a conjunction to the South Node.

The tension is internal and stems from the strong desire to defend our personal concept of independence. Anger or aggression boils within. It is a tension that can break out suddenly.

Here it is helpful to have in mind that Mars is conjunct the South Node in Aquarius. This conjunction means that if there is something that keeps us back, not allowing evolution, then this is a misunderstood concept about freedom and individuality.

If our actions aim only at an unnecessary rebellion just for the sake of it (South Node to Aquarius), then any outburst will be in vain.

Instead, what we are called to do, is our actions to be characterized by a mature understanding of what independence means. Although it is freedom of action, it has nevertheless to be accompanied by responsibility and creative leadership (North Node in Leo).

This is a difficult eclipse, like the subsequent ones within this long, hot summer.

The Eclipse booms, and occurs in an environment of four planets being retrograde (Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto).

What can help us in this dry landscape that we see shaping in front of us?

Where can we find shade as we trudge under the hot sun and where can we cool with some water?

In order of duration and importance, the astrological aspects that may help are:

The trine between Venus and Uranus (July 8 – July 16)

A beautiful trine, lasting almost for a week, from July 8th to July 16th, and which allows a degree of freedom in our relationships, especially in matters that concern practical issues and issues of material security.

We leave space to the other person, we enjoy opportunities for being more social and, above all, we are open to mind-sets different from our aesthetics and from what we usually like.

The trine between Venus and Saturn (July 10 – July 19)

This is an aspect that gives the necessary maturity and patience in relationships.

We have realistic goals for economic and emotional issues.

Collaborations and relationships are prestigious and serious, as we both set common goals (Capricorn), and we are predisposed to serve our common ground, sparing minor details and meaningless criticism. (Virgin)

The trine between Saturn and Uranus (It lasts all summer)

This is the most helpful of all the aspects, since it allows us to manage the changes and the sudden events that can result from the eclipse, in a responsible manner.

It gives a relative stability within the changing landscape, PROVIDED that we take good advantage of Saturn’s retrograde movement and we do the necessary self-criticism so as to understand:

  • If and where we are oppressive
  • Which are our limits, and
  • We begin to formulate an awareness of our responsibility.

So let’s arm ourselves with patience and endurance, because the summer is long and we have yet two difficult eclipses to go through.

Full Moon in Libra

FULL MOON IN LIBRA – 31 MARCH 2018: Countdown to Explosion

Full Moon in Libra

The Full Moon takes place at 10° 44’ of the Sign of Libra. It strongly affects Aries, Libra and Capricorn Signs, as well as Cancer Signs, which are born near the end of the 1st decan or near the start of the 2nd decan, as well as those having personal planets or their Ascendant near the degrees 7°- 12° of the Cardinal cross.

The French poet Arthur Rimbaud has a dramatic and intense line in one of his most famous poems, the one entitled “The Drunken Boat”. The line sounds ominous and reads:

“Every moon is atrocious and every sun bitter.”

This line, emotionally charged but beautiful at the same time, can be seen as the key phrase that describes the Full Moon in Libra that takes place on March the 31st. It is an intense, dramatic and climactic Full Moon that will be a test for us and for our relationships, and may leave a bitter taste in our mouth.

In Astrology, each Full Moon is an act of balance. A culmination of a process that starts with the New Moon and leads up to a check in development. It is a time when our needs are felt intensely and are brought to the fore under the light of the Sun.  An integration between what we need and what we want is the challenge.

This Full Moon occurs in the Sign of Libra. We try to rationalize our emotions and balance how we interact with others. Exactly opposite, the Sun, our conscious self, projects our ego onto these emotions and asserts “Me” versus “We”.

This act of balance may have been easier to achieve in the past, when similar Full Moons were happening on this same axis of Libra – Aries. But now, with this specific Full Moon in Libra, to be able to balance the increasing pressure it is something that really requires tremendous skills.

Full Moon in Libra 2018

This Full Moon takes place within a set of dynamic aspects with nearly no outlet for the tension to ease. Since it concerns relationships, and strongly affects our interactions with others, this is a Full Moon that throws relations “into the furious lashing of the tides”, to use one more poetic image from Rimbaud’s poem.

Mercury is retrograde in Aries and conjunct with the Sun. Misunderstandings and a proneness to quarrel is the mode of operation of Mercury when the planet is Retrograde in Aries. Speech becomes acrimonious within the hot-tempered Sign of Aries and the mind though acute is restless.  This negative mindset is fueled by the Sun’s excessive pride in the Sign of its exaltation.

At the same time our emotions cannot be put to words and all this tension is projected onto important others, friends, lovers, collaborators.

As if these were not enough, the Full Moon axis is making a tough T-Square formation with Mars and Saturn, as Mars the planet of war and aggression approaches Saturn on the 8th degree of the Sign of Capricorn.

Focused action to achieve our goals becomes inhibited and frustration builds up.

Mars is also out of bounds and this means that the aggressive qualities of the planet will be uncontrolled.

This explosive combination of the two malefics in their Signs of Exaltation and Rulership respectively, could be handled, if it were not for the T-Square. T- Squares are not easy to handle and especially when, as is the case with this T – Square, the formation takes place within Cardinal Signs, something that means that the tension will be resolved through action, with passion and with impulsive self-expression.

The countdown to explosion goes like this:

  • Mercury retrograde already hazy with unexpressed emotions squares Saturn. Thoughts become darker and pessimistic. Bad News.
  • Mercury squares Mars: We want to yell and shout. Hard words, harsh words. Impatient talks and rushed thoughts. Disagreements and angered communication.
  • Moon squares Mars: Easily heart feelings. Hot tempered emotions. Impulsive actions as a result of pent-up emotions.
  • Moon squares Saturn: Mood is down, feeling loathsome and lonesome.
  • Sun squares Saturn: Ego clashes authority figures. Lawlessness and impatience. A test of our will to compromise.
  • Sun squares Mars: Act impulsively, assert your ego ten times more than necessary, outburst of energy and aggression.

No need to say more… you get the general idea.

All relationships will be put to a stress-test during this Full Moon. It will be very difficult for anyone to be able to balance all this pressure and not to burst out towards one extreme. Emotional or Egotistical.

Try to stay calm and cool-headed.

Also beware of accidents because this tension will find a way to externalize itself with every means possible.

I wish everyone to steer harmless through the tempest of this Full Moon and as another line of Rimbaud’s poem reads, I wish everyone blessed with sea awakening, lighter than cork, to dance the waves”.

Libra New Moon

LIBRA NEW MOON – 19 OCTOBER 2017: A wind stirs up the Lake

Libra New Moon 2017

Luna Lake. It is a lake, calm and serene. The picture is of you and of me. We stand on the lake shore. The wind blows gently. It makes ripples on the surface of the water and tangles our hair.

It is I and You.

Suddenly a strong wind stirs up the lake. Lightning. A sudden rain, cool and refreshing.  We run for shelter. Our hearts beat loud, with joy. Under the big tree top we stop. We are waiting for the rain to stop. We sit and talk. We get along. The rain stops. We look at each other. We may be wet, but for some reason we now know that everything is possible, everything is old and is new. We get up and go. But now, we are walking together.

It is We.”

I have chosen a poetic manner suitable to the harmonious sign of Libra, to describe with an imagery the energy of the New Moon that takes place on October the 19th.

It is a New Moon that is stirring up the waters, and for some of us, we could even say that it is stirring up waters that have been stagnant and still.

This New Moon occurs at Libra, the sign of relationships and harmony. Exactly opposite the New Moon, Uranus in Aries actively energises us. It brings the sudden and the unexpected when we least anticipate it. This might initially cause us excitement, agitation, or even annoy us. But this awakening is exactly what we really need, so as to better realise where we stand with ourselves and others.

This New Moon totally refreshes existing relationships and partnerships while at the same time brings many opportunities for new ones to be born.

But the New Moon does not only affect relationships and partnerships,  because through our renewed relations it also allows us to find and reach a new balance, inward and outward, and thus benefit other areas of our lives, as well.

Which areas these may be, it has to do with where the New Moon operates in your personal horoscope.

Although initially the energy of the New Moon is electrifying, it will eventually have positive results since it is in conjunction with Jupiter.

This process of reset and renewal may come suddenly but it will be smooth. This is because Saturn assists Uranus in its opposition to the New Moon, controls any excessive impulses, makes us adjust to the new, and gives us the necessary calmness with which to face the changes.

So now is the best time to let ourselves open to new possibilities and to be excited about the new.

Most importantly, from the time of the New Moon and for the next 14 days we will be able to greatly capitalise on the potential of our existing relationships and many opportunities are going to present themselves through cooperation, conciliation and mutual understanding.

Find out where the New Moon falls in your chart

and embrace its promise for renewal.
