NEW MOON IN SCORPIO 28 OCTOBER 2019

The New Moon takes place at 04°25’ of the Sign of Scorpio. It mainly affects Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius persons, who are born in the first decan, as well as for those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 02° – 06° degrees of the Signs mentioned.

The New Moon also affects the Signs of the Cardinal Cross (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), of the second decan and near 15° degree, or those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 13° – 17° degrees of the Cardinal Signs.

A New Moon that causes explosive situations, anger, separations, deceptive allure, and idealizations of lovers, is taking place on the night of October the 27th or the 28th, depending on where in the world you stand as you look at the sky.

It is a mix of incompatible and contradictory energies, this Moon, that takes place at 4° 25’ of the Sign of Scorpio.

New Moon in Scorpio

When the Sun is in Scorpio our will is strengthened, desires are deep and everything takes on an existential quality. All issues are approached with a “matter of life and death” attitude. They are important because we feel important and we can display intensity of will.

The Moon in Scorpio is intense emotions, buried emotions, taboo emotions. It is supercharged psychological intensity, urges of the psyche powerful enough to transform.

Each New Moon in Scorpio combines emotional depth with strong will and thus becomes a source of psychological strength.

With this particular New Moon in Scorpio, however, this strength is expressed rather suddenly, rather unexpectedly, and brings tension to that area of our life that is indicated by the House in which it falls on our horoscope.

Uranus in opposition to the New Moon

Planet Uranus is almost precisely in an opposition to the New Moon, so all of the Scorpio’s emotional intensity and need for transformation makes us excited, restless, needing our independence and fills us with nervousness.

Anything that is not as we would want and would desire, fills us with frustration. We want the world and now we want it now, in an expression of intense determination that comes out jerkily.

Especially the opposition of Uranus to the Sun brings rebelliousness, strong independence and a need to escape from manipulative and emotionally complex relationships.

Attention is needed, because this electrically charged New Moon brings tensions to the area that activates in our horoscope, brings abrupt changes that surprise us, emotional coldness, cracks in relationships or even breakups.

Mars Square Saturn

As if this isn’t enough, Mars from Libra makes a difficult square to Saturn in Capricorn. An aspect that intensifies the situation, acting as a slow wick that will eventually trigger the explosive power that is contained in this New Moon.

Anger, repressed egoism, a feeling that “we cannot”, are possible manifestations of this square.

We have to exert more effort to keep up the pretenses since we are unable to find a subtler way to address the issues. We feel frustration.

It is a very dynamic aspect that makes us unable to keep our patience, brings low libido, repressed passions. It is an aspect that may even bring conflict with the law and other forms of authority.

Mars inconjunct Neptune

This, in my opinion, is the worst aspect of this New Moon.

Mars, already in a square to Saturn, is simultaneously inconjunct to Neptune. The blockage of energy meets the false expectations. Fallen libido is channeled to idealism.

Mars in Libra is indecisive and as square to Saturn, is oppressed and unable to react to the spell that Neptune brings. Love, instead of being externalized, becomes not expressed, and here lies the risk of frustration.

Passion may light up for a while, but in this environment of pressure, and with so many false expectations, in its best will bring meaningless sexual intercourse, which will drain us psychologically, and in its worst will bring unrequited love and desires that border on the “unhealthy”.

Neptune Sextile Saturn

This is the only helpful aspect of this New Moon, an aspect that closes the formation of the Learning Trine that this chart has. An aspect formation between Saturn, Mars, and Neptune, that hides a small lesson.

It is an aspect that comes as a continuation of the anger/pressure of the Mars – Saturn square, and the frustration that the disappointment of the Mars – Neptune inconjunct.

The learning process is completed only after the pressure and the frustration, as we are now learning to begin from a more realistic base and to have faith in our potential.

The sooner we overcome the first two phases of the formation, and the more quickly we absorb the learning, the better it is.

Where we have to pay attention

As you see, this New Moon in Scorpio requires special attention as it brings either tension or energy loss.

Especially the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) of the first decan, as well as the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) of the second decan, should watch out, because this New Moon may:

  • relate to unexpected events that challenge what is familiar.
  • bring tensions that will shake their emotional security and their love life.
  • cause rash and unthoughtful reactions.
  • exaggerate any feelings of oppression and weight felt in our relationships, and trigger a rethinking of “how” and “why” we are with the other person.
  • create foggy situations and mistaken expectations, either erotically or sexually, resulting in frustration and spending of energy.
  • bring tensions, anger, and crises that will lead to breakups and separations.

So, having the necessary patience to remain polite, to be diplomatic, to be less reactive and more compromising, are the only ways to avoid the tensions.

Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces Signs are less affected by the energy of the New Moon, but nevertheless, they also have to be careful:

  • for viruses,
  • And to not be left on the delusional charm of temporary eroticism. Or even if they do, at least to know what is happening to them and why they do it.

Postscript

This New Moon at a mundane level is likely to coincide with explosions, military clashes, aggressive actions (already being prepared for Syria), and the usage of chemical weapons.

In any case, it is an intense New Moon, one that we astrologers are not happy to analyze, with a very intense Scorpio flair, as you will come to experience it, and which, sooner or later…

…shall pass.

NEW MOON IN PISCES 6 MARCH 2019: A t l a n t i s

NEW MOON IN PISCES 6 MAR GR

The New Moon takes place at 16°09’ of the Sign of Pisces. It has a positive effect for Pisces, Taurus, and Capricorn persons, as well as for Cancer and Scorpio persons, which are born in the second decan, as well as for those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 14° – 18° degrees of the mentioned Signs.

A New Moon in Pisces takes place on March the 6th.

This is a moon from the transcendental realms. It holds the promise of a re-birth. It has a quality of merging the spiritual with the material. This is a moon to manifest the dream.

New Moons are always new starts. Beginnings or new happenings for better or worse depending on the aspects at the time of their occurrence and on how they activate our natal chart.

When the New Moon takes place in the Sign of Pisces it marks a new cycle that is characterized with the sensitivity of Sign. It is with inspiration, compassion, creativity, and intuition that our individual spirit, the Sun, is expressed under the Piscean influence on our psyche and our subconscious, the Moon.

This particular New Moon twice intensifies the Piscean motifs since the two Lights are conjunct Neptune, the ruler of the Sign.

This is an aspect that if examined on its own, could mean heightened spirituality, compassion and awareness of the most-subtle vibes.

On its negative expression it could mean among others, a lack of will, not clear intentions and non-clarity in emotions. It could mean harboring unrealistic expectations from ourselves, subdued will or lessened vitality.

Even more, with Jupiter in this lunation making a square aspect to Neptune, the risk of over idealizing, of living more in the fantasy world or being overly optimistic is heightened. But…

…astrology is not just an aspect and the chart has to be viewed as an energy grid.

NEW MOON IN PISCES 6 MAR GR

The two Lights and Neptune are making sextile aspects to Mars and Saturn, two planets that themselves are in a trine aspect. This formation is called a Small Talent Triangle and channels the positive energy of the trine aspect between Mars and Saturn to the focus point that is the New Moon conjuct to Neptune.

The key of this aspect formation is that by using the Mars trine Saturn energy we can exploit the opportunities presented by the two sextiles.

Mars trine Saturn is an aspect that helps with disciplined action. It gives us the ability to set goals and the drive and energy to force them into completion. It helps us with structured ambition and to work with patience.

Mars and Saturn are both in earth signs and all things practical can now be carried through and settled with just a small perseverance. Physical effort may be necessary but it won’t tire us or exhaust us.

That is why this New Moon is so good.

It allows us to dream and to conceptualize. It make us feel inspired and any intentions set now will not remain mere fantasies. The trine of Mars to Saturn motivates us to act on the inspiration of this New Moon and to make a reality out of our dream.

This New Moon in Pisces does not allow wobbling and indecisiveness, dreamy escapism or scattering of our energy.

It fills our imagination, make us creative and fills us with compassion. It combines the practical with the ethereal.

It is a New Moon, best described in the words of a great Pisces, Edgar Cayce. A man who was a healer, a prophet and a clairvoyant, and who also had a similar Small Talent Triangle in his chart:

“Dreams are today’s answers to tomorrow’s questions”

                                                                                                              – Edgar Cayce

Edgar Cayce NEW MOON IN PISCES 6 MARCH

Now the picture is complete.

But this is a New Moon that has a delicate timing also.

It takes place on the same day that Uranus, the planet of awakenings enters the practical and sensual Sign of Taurus. This in itself is a statement that declares that Uranus’ rejuvenating wind, under this New Moon, will mark a new sense of security and self- esteem.

Re-invigoration comes as long as we attune to the higher vibrations of Art, Empathy and Spirituality, that this New Moon is a typical paradigm for.

This New Moon in Pisces is also having a healing quality.

Mercury, in the chart of the New Moon, is stationary ready to turn retrograde from 29° Pisces, and conjunct Chiron in 0° Aries.

It is at the same cosmic moment, when Uranus is entering Taurus and activates the January 21 Lunar Eclipse in the Sign of Leo, that Mercury, infused with Chironic pain, turns to the past, to reassess the events of the strange gone era of January and last summer.

This repeat or repent of past events, is now making us to see what happened under the prism of Piscean forgiveness. First we understand and then we forgive. That is the reprise of the Mercury retrograde. The karmic lesson is now learned.

Awakening comes from forgiveness and compassion for ourselves. If we attain this for us, then we can also do this for our important others.

This is the message of this New Moon. Just remain open to the energy of this fantastic New Moon in Pisces and start to dream of your future selves.

FULL MOON IN TAURUS OCTOBER 2018: Unsettled Stability

Sharing is caring:

FULL MOON IN TAURUS OCTOBER 2018

The Full Moon takes place at 01°13’ of the Sign of Taurus. It mainly affects Taurus and Scorpio persons and also Leo and Aquarius persons which are born in the first days of their Sign, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 0° -3° degrees of the Fixed Cross.

The proximity of the Full Moon to the last degrees of the Cardinal Cross affects also Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn persons that are born in the last 2 days of their Sign, or those hose having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 28°-29° degrees of the Cardinal Cross.

A difficult Full Moon in Taurus is taking place on October 24th.

A Full Moon is a point of culmination. It usually marks a time when processes or events that have begun two weeks before with the New Moon are now reaching their climax.

That is why under the Full Moon we are usually charged with tension. We now either successfully conclude what has started then, or we clearly see what is lacking, what needs to be corrected, and we are called to re-adjust our actions or our attitude.

A Full Moon in Taurus

When the Full Moon is taking place in the Sign of Taurus, the tension felt is the result of the contrast between our need to feel emotionally safe in practical and simple terms, while at the same we want to change, we want deep emotional stimulation and are drawn to complexity of emotions.

It can also mean that circumstances may indeed be transforming, stirring inside us feelings of insecurity and the need to be grounded again, the need to hold on to something dear that gives a sense or a pretext of simple security.

This second case is somewhat closer to the energy of the Full Moon in Taurus that takes place on the night of the 24th of October and that brings high tension in the way we relate.

The Pent-up Emotions

FULL MOON IN TAURUS OCTOBER 2018If we examine the chart of this Full Moon in Taurus the first thing that strikes us is the Grand Cross formed in the Fixed Signs.

The Nodal Axis in the Leo – Aquarius is forming tight squares with the Sun and Venus conjunction in Scorpio and with the Moon and Uranus conjunction in Taurus. It is as if this Full Moon is a pivotal point, a crossroads where stacked up energy has reached its maximum point and the pressure has to be released.

The imbalance represented by the Full Moon’s axis, the Sun and Venus opposing Moon and Uranus, is presenting a crisis necessary for our self-development.

There is a karmic and evolutionary lesson that can be found here if we are able to integrate this Full Moon’s opposition constructively.

It seems that it is easy for us to be absorbed in an egotistical expression of ourselves (North Node in Leo), that has its roots in an adolescent and irresponsible sense of individualism (South Node in Aquarius), and which is now challenging our relationships.

Or to be more precise, regardless of whether we are in a relationship or we are single, this Grand Cross challenges our very sense of self-worth and emotional security as denoted by the Full Moon axis in Taurus – Scorpio.

What we are called to do, and which is difficult, is to instead turn the picture upside down.

We have to use the energy of the Nodal Axis the opposite way. Begin our approach with the co-operative and dispassionate spirit of Aquarius and then moving on towards expressing our selves with the warmth, creativity, and love, traits that Leo displays when at its best.

This approach will help to a constructive expression of the Full Moon opposition in a beneficial way, but it is indeed very difficult for us to adopt it because the Grand Square is in Fixed Signs, denoting stubbornness and difficulty to let go of our pent-up emotions.

FULL MOON IN TAURUS OCTOBER 2018

The Disruptive Challenge for Relations

This Full Moon’s tension is not only the polarity of the Sun and Moon in the Taurus – Leo Axis.

It is a tension that is highly amplified by Planet Uranus that is in a conjunction with the Moon. Retrograde and at the same time on the powerful 0° of Taurus, Uranus creates emotions highly strung with octanes of nervousness. We need to be free and to express our emotions, out in the open, regardless of norm or convention.

In addition to this, Uranus is not only conjunct the Moon, but simultaneously is in an opposition aspect to the Sun and to planet Venus in Scorpio.

Its opposition with the Sun in Scorpio brings rebelliousness, independence and a need to break away from manipulating and complex-ridden relationships.

Uranus conjunct with the exalted Moon in the sensual Taurus, is in opposition with the sexually charged Venus that moves retrograde in Scorpio. This is a combination of energies that make us to more prefer satisfying our hedonistic needs than to relate deeply, sharing emotional connection.

So, either more freedom is what we need, or we are full of enthusiasm for new flirts, or a sudden new romance appears.

Whatever the case, our erotic life is shaken and is very likely to change under this combination of aspects.

The Triggering of the Next Eclipse

Whatever Uranus’ participation in the Full Moon may bring in the following weeks, it will be something possible to be repeated or to be concluded with the Total Lunar Eclipse on January 21, 2019.

The eclipse takes place on 0°52’ of Leo, and Uranus in this Full Moon chart, is tightly squaring its degree, activating and triggering events or situations that will again concern us near the time of the eclipse.

Unsettling of Stability

The circumstances under this Full Moon in Taurus are unsettling to our stability and serenity.

This is a Full Moon that has the potential to deeply affect relationships or how we relate. It is charged with highly – strung emotions, brings the need for freedom and for expression of our individuality.

The only stabilizing factors in the chart of this Full Moon in Taurus, is that Saturn is making a trine aspect to the Moon and Uranus as well as a sextile to Venus. These aspects somehow ground the disruptive energy and work beneficially for relations that otherwise could very easily break under the stress of this Full Moon.

Emotions, though tense, can be patient, mature and we may manage the sudden in a responsible manner.

However, high tension remains in the air.

  • We have to be careful because this Full Moon in Taurus may be the beginning of a crisis that will lead to break ups and splits, a crisis that may re-appear in end January 2019 or a little afterwards.
  • Let us be prepared for sudden events that challenge what was up to now familiar, highlighting the need for re-establishing emotional security in our love lives.
  • We may try and use the grounding energy of the Saturn aspects to re-new relationships in a new basis.
  • We have to take care with money and investments for the next two weeks, as the possibility for high volatility and uncertainty in finances is high.

This is a difficult full moon that places us at the crossroads, and the thing is that it seems we won’t be able to choose easily or decisively on which path to take yet, but we’ll have to wait until later on.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO- 9 SEPTEMBER 2018: Gifted Perfection

Sharing is caring:

NEW MOON IN VIRGO- 9 SEPTEMBER 2018

The New Moon takes place in 17°and 00’ of the perfectionist Sign of Virgo. It strongly affects Virgo and Pisces Signs and also Gemini and Sagittarius Signs which are born in the second decan, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 15° -19° degrees of the Mutable Cross. The strong Earth Element and Water Element of this New Moon also affects all Water and Earth Signs.

GET YOUR OWN READING!

On the 9th of September a New Moon is taking place in the Sign of Virgo.

The New Moon falls exactly on the 17° degree (that means 17° 00’), something that, if we symbolically think about it, is extraordinarily suitable to the love for precision that the Virgo Sign has. As if this was not enough the 17th degree of the mutable signs is what in astrology called, a critical degree, and planets placed here are emphasized for better or worse.

So we have a really extraordinary New Moon that has a strong emphasis on the Virgoan themes.

Every New Moon has the potential for a new start and a new beginning and when the New Moon falls in the Sign of Virgo the time is perfect for addressing and tidying up loose ends. It is the right time to help ourselves or others in practical matters or to take decisions relating to health and nutrition.

It is an ideal time to set our standards, practical ways of how to serve our loved with gestures of affection, or how to organize our actions for a new project that demands our energy and focus on the details.

This New Moon in Virgo comes after the Full Moon in Pisces on the 26th of August, when we had five planets in Earth Signs and three planets in Water Signs. This was a full moon that marked a perfect time to materialize our dreams combining Earth and Water.

This New Moon now, is the perfect time to set out and take care of material, pragmatic world tasks, as the energy has shifted even more to the Earth element ,with seven bodies there while still three bodies in Water.

New Moon in opposition to Neptune

This polarity of the pragmatic and the idealized is reflected in the main aspect of Neptune in Pisces opposing the New Moon. This is an aspect that may play out in various ways depending on how well we can integrate the energies involved.

It can for example combine humility of ego and the need to be of service to important others with a little bit of idealizing. This could be very helpful because the idealization element will greatly lessen the excessive pedantic criticism and the perfectionism usually demanded from others, traits of the Virgo individuals. So it can help our relationships setting new standards of communication.

On the other hand, this same aspect could mean, that the excessive pedantic criticism and our desire for important relationship to be perfect, to cloud our vision and our feelings and make things worse.

This is the test of every opposition.

The meaning of this New Moon – Neptune opposition can be summed up in the following:

The perfect is not the ideal. Ask less perfection from loved ones.

At the same time the idealized does not remain perfect.

Do not get easily disappointed from your partners.

NEW MOON IN VIRGO- 9 SEPTEMBER 2018

Patterns and Motifs

What is important with this particular new moon is that the opposition to planet Neptune is aided by two Wedge formations and is also part of a Cradle pattern. The Cradle pattern connects with sextile aspects the Sun & Moon to Jupiter, Jupiter in sextile to Pluto and Pluto in sextile to Neptune.

At the same time two trine aspects, one in the Water element between Jupiter and Neptune, and the other in the Earth element between Sun-Moon and Pluto, ease once more the Neptune – New Moon opposition.

Another formation that works very helpful in the intricately woven aspect patterns in the chart of this New Moon in Virgo,  is the Grand trine in Earth between, Mercury in Virgo, Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus.

This Grand Trine can help us to organize our long-term plans by combining originality with stability, and strategic thinking with reformative ingenuity.

The Gift of this New Moon

In what ways can all these complicated aspects combine them to our most aid?

  • First of all, now is the time to be practical and realistic and to start materializing plans or new endeavors.
  • At the same time we have to continue to be inspired in order to make a reality out of a dream and not get lost in the details but to retain our grand vision.
  • We have to be very careful not to be deceived or not we to deceive others.
  • We have in mind that warm feelings and optimism will lessen most of relationship problems especially ones that have to do with over-emphasis on petty things.
  • This period is generally good as luck and numerous opportunities are guaranteed for any new projects, partnerships or actions that we begin, especially if they are approached in a practical and organized manner.
  • Remember, success is easily achieved and the necessary resources are found.
  • We are empowered because this period aligns our own spiritual growth with our deepest conviction.
  • Now is the perfect time for us to express our talents because now we will perfect them.

This New Moon is the Gift of Perfection and if we can tune to it,

its rhythm will be precise and its melody sweet.

Find out where the New Moon falls in your chart and heed its lessons.

FULL MOON IN PISCES – 26 AUGUST 2018: True to You

Sharing is caring:

Full Moon in Pisces 26 August 2018

The Full Moon takes place at 03°and 12’ of the Sign of Pisces. It strongly affects Pisces and Virgo Signs and also Gemini and Sagittarius Signs which are born in the first decan, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 01° -05° degrees of the Mutable Cross. The energy of this Full Moon in Pisces is also channeled to the Earth Signs and affects Taurus and Capricorn Signs born near the first days.

A beneficial full moon takes place on August the 26th.

It is a full moon that soothes us after the difficult eclipses that have preceded it, refreshing our psychic reserves. It presents an ideal opportunity for us to be inspired and to be practical at the same time, setting the bases that will assist us in the next period.

The Moon is in the dreamy and psychic Sign of Pisces and brings to the fore emotions of romantic nostalgia. The soul asks for a fleeing away from the desert of the real, feelings are fluid and the dream of escaping or the need for the osmosis with the transcendental, swell within us.

Opposite, the Sun in the zodiac Sign of Virgo, grounds illusions and seeks something more practical than the cloudy and vague Piscean landscape. It seems as if the Sun is declaring: “Dreams have a tendency of not coming true”. Yes that is true, at least if dreams remain theoretical and are not accompanied by work, meticulous craftsmanship, attention and emphasis in detail.

This contrast between, us serving a vision without losing our faith on the one hand, and being constantly inspired by the tedious reality and avoiding tendencies to flee in the dream-world on the other, is the theme of every Full Moon in Pisces.

Full Moon in Pisces 26 August 2018

With this particular Full Moon on the 26th of August, this balance is easily achieved, since this archetypal contrast, as expressed by the polarity of the Sun and Moon, is the backbone of a very favorable aspect pattern that in astrology is called “Kite”.

Although the chart of this Full Moon in Pisces is actually very complex – since at least four basic aspect patterns can be found within the aspects’ formations, the favorable trines and sextiles that constitute the Kite are dominant making this formation the basic element of our interpretation.

A Grand Trine between the Sun, Saturn and Uranus in the Earth Signs, forms the Kite’s main body.

This trine effortlessly grounds the transcendental idealism of the Moon in Pisces (situated at the tail of the Kite), and sets for us the foundations to materialize our dream in a practical level, as long as we adhere to the following:

We express ourselves by serving (Virgo) our ideal (Pisces), but we do it having complete consciousness (Sun) of what is our personal truth (Uranus), and what is which will make us feel really safe (Sun trine to Uranus in Taurus).

At the same time, we accept, that whichever our own truth is, it entails responsibilities (Saturn).

It is a truth that, in order to serve our dream (Moon in Pisces), should be accompanied by goals (Moon sextile Saturn in Capricorn), allow independent expression (Moon sextile Uranus in Taurus) and most importantly, give us the necessary self-discipline (Sun trine Saturn) to carry out the demands it presents.

An example to illustrate the beneficial effect that this Full Moon can have on a self-discovery level, is that of a married woman who feels the need to escape in a romantic journey with her lover.

The psychological pressure caused by the practical difficulties of making the hidden and craving journey a reality, – since it confronts with the reactions of her husband or of her parents and spoil her dream, is solved, as she faces her own personal truth.

Does she wants to escape just to live an adventure or her personal truth is that she really does not want to be married anymore and the lover is the excuse for the ending her marriage?

Being aware of her truth shows what the next practical steps are.

If it is the first case, means that it would be good for her to accept that all this is just a dream of fleeing and to begin working on her marriage with responsibility and self-discipline, while expressing at the same time her individual nature by claiming her personal space and freedom. (Saturn trine to Uranus as part of the Kite pattern).

If, on the other hand, her truth is the second case, then she must find the self-discipline to communicate how she really feels to spouse and parents and to accept the consequences by divorcing, and fulfilling her dream for a new state of being, free, and responsibly independent.

The above example is of course schematic and in no way encourages anyone to divorce.

It is an example to demonstrate how complex and interrelated processes this Full Moon in Pisces brings. Beginning with the dream and through the formation of the “Kite”, it eventually creates new situations and renews us with responsibility and freedom of action.

This is a Full Moon that is beneficial for all of us, depending on where it falls on our personal horoscope, as it combines,

  • inspiration,
  • vision,
  • a sense of responsibility and
  • awareness of our truth.

Full Moon in Pisces 26 August 2018

In addition to the Kite aspect pattern, the dreamy trine between Jupiter and Neptune and the square aspect between Venus and Pluto, give even more emotional depth to this full moon.

The square aspect between Venus and Pluto will bring to the surface psychological tensions that will eventually prove liberating, as with the trine of Jupiter to Neptune, the very possibility of our dream becoming a reality, will fill our lives us with meaning.

This is a strongly emotional Full Moon in Pisces, which combines the elements of Earth and Water in the best possible way.

It is sensitive and dreamy, and still, it is simultaneously the appropriate time for us to work out in a practical manner, our relationships, our partnerships, our aspirations and our dreams.

I wish to everyone a fulfilling Full Moon in Pisces.

The Full Moon takes place at 08°and 10’ of the Sign of Sagittarius. It strongly affects Sagittarius and Gemini Signs and also Virgo and Pisces Signs which are born in the first decan, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 06° -10° degrees of the Mutable Cross.

Especially with this particular Full Moon, the Grand Trine between Venus, Jupiter and Neptune affects those who have planets or horoscope points, between 10°-18° of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.

An adventurous Full Moon is taking place on 29th of May, a moon that is infusing us with positive energy.

At last, after a period of intense moons that have set critical milestones and have marked developmental changes for many of us, now the sky is clear again.

We can now once more stand under the moonlight, feel the night breeze and marvel at the awesome display above our head. We can breathe deep, inhale the fresh air in the stillness of the night, as the twinkling stars above entice us again in faraway journeys.

The positive energy of this Full Moon is a calling to the most expanding part of our psyche. The part that likes to explore and discover, a calling to a childish urge that says, “run, jump the fence, go down this road, find where it leads you!”.

This is the nature of the Sagittarius, the Sign where the Moon is placed in this Full Moon. Excitement for what’s new.

The exciting feeling of this Full Moon in Sagittarius comes naturally and is the long-awaited release of the tension felt during the previous month.

This Full Moon is a positive culmination

that brings fulfilling emotions.

It is not unusual when the Full Moon occurs in the jovial and expansive Sign of Sagittarius, to have a positive energy but with this particular Full Moon there are some factors that amplify its positive effect.

The Sun and the Moon polarity, that happens when we have a Full Moon, usually brings overwhelming emotions or tension. This is not the case with this Full Moon, because it is a polarity aided by the aspects that the two Luminaries make with planet Mars in Aquarius.

The Sun in Gemini is in a trine aspect to Mars, and the Moon is in a sextile aspect with the red planet. These simultaneous harmonious aspects ease the sentimental tension and present an outlet for it, through action.

We feel energetic and invigorated, confident and bold, we are driven by being unique and letting the world know how we feel.

There is no conflict between our need for a personal vision and knowing our  very facts. We have examined the facts, we have made the moves, and we have shifted our stance. Now we may begin forming a new vision or to start making an already held vision, a reality. With this Full Moon we know where we stand and we know that we are ready to move on.

This Full Moon set us on a journey to find our inner truth

and to have the courage to express it.

There are no other major aspects made by the two Lights.

Just this Wedge Pattern that denotes, reforming action (Mars in Aquarius), invoked by true feelings (Mars in Aquarius sextile Moon in Sagittarius), that ease the confident expression of our desires (Mars in Aquarius trine Sun in Gemini).

Yes, we stand under the stars and we savor the night air, we comprehend the big picture, and feeling ready to jump on the first train to the next thrill.

It’s such an energizing Full Moon!

The second reason for the fulfilling energy that this Full Moon is having is the Grand Trine between Jupiter, Neptune and Venus.

This marvelous Grand Trine in the Water Signs emphasizes our most positive emotional qualities.

Jupiter trine Neptune brings vision, dreams, ethical belief, compassion and spiritual awareness. This qualities are compatible with the need for a true vision that the Moon in Sagittarius expresses and since Jupiter rules the Moon, we are all the more easily attuned to such feelings.

Jupiter trine Venus attracts good fortune, brings joy and pleasure, good-natured feelings, appreciation for love and art, and socializing. In this positive mood our excitement is easily aroused.

Neptune trine Venus is the love for the ideal, the idealization of love, the daydream fantasy of spiritual realms. It is through this extremely sensitive and inspiring mindset that our senses tingle, we fill optimistic and ready to embark on a new adventure.

This full moon is an urge to travel outwards…

but in reality is a journey towards the within.

It is a powerful time for emotional release and for opening ourselves to new possibilities.

This is the time to ask ourselves some important questions and have the big vision to find the answers that can make real changes.

FULL MOON IN SCORPIO – 30 APRIL 2018: The Balance Shifts

Sharing is caring:

Full Moon in Scorpio 2018

The Full Moon takes place at 09° 38’ of the Sign of Scorpio. It strongly affects Scorpio, Taurus, Leo, and Aquarius Signs, which are born near the end of the 1st decan or near the start of the 2nd decan, as well as those having personal planets or their Ascendant near the degrees 7°- 11° of the Fixed cross.

Prelude

Since the Aries New Moon two weeks ago, the moon has traveled half its cycle. Sign by Sign, it moved into the Sign of Scorpio and now shines, late at night, reflecting the light from the Sun that is in the Sign of Taurus.

This reflection is a culmination. It reflects a turning point in a process that started with the New Moon in Aries, a process that awakened us and placed us at the center of developments.

The previous New Moon was the impulse that pushed us, and now the Full Moon in Scorpio is our emotional response to a need that is deeply ingrained in the fabric of our soul.  The need for a meaningful connection that transforms. It is us desiring rebirth.

All full moons in Scorpio awake a desire for transformation, but with this Full Moon the need is intense and we can now make the difference.

Now we tip the scales. With this Full Moon in Scorpio the shift is made and everything is set in motion.

Act 1 – Balance Shift

There are three strong astrological indicators that give to this particular Full Moon a fated or as I more prefer to call it, evolutionary nature.

Moon from within the 9°38’ degrees of Scorpio opposes the Sun in Taurus and at the same time, both lights are in a square aspect to the Lunar Nodes at 10°30’ degrees of the Leo – Aquarius axis. This is the current eclipses’ axis and actually, if one checks, this Full Moon is not only squaring the nodes but it is also square the total Lunar Eclipse of January the 31st.

This cosmic coincidence connects the Lunar Eclipse with this Full Moon and means that emotional issues manifested right after the January eclipse, things that have been brewing under the surface all this time, have now reached a critical point. We can no longer balance between material stability (Taurus) and emotional security (Scorpio). Now it is the time that the balance shifts towards the one or the other, marking the beginning of a new period in our life.

Act 2 – Manifestation

Saturn is retrograde and, from the 9th degree of Capricorn, is forming a tight trine – sextile aspect to the Full Moon in Scorpio.

This second factor gives this Full Moon a serious nature. Saturn, the great teacher, gives us an opportunity to not only discipline the intense emotions of this Full Moon but also eases the manifestation of our will and the achievement of personal goals.

What Saturn does is that it makes a reality out of the tension represented by this full moon and with its retrograde movement, a Karmic feeling to what is being unfolding for us, is emphasized once more.

Act 3 – Developmental Patterns

The third astrological factor that denotes development, is the Trapeze aspect pattern that is formed on the chart of this Full Moon.

This is a combined aspect pattern formed by two Learning Triangles, each one in opposite direction to the other. The Trapeze has at its corners, Saturn, the Moon, the North Node, and Mercury.

This trapeze pattern, in its remarkable combination of multiple aspects, suggests a sequence of cyclical learning processes that result in personal development.

Finale

All these suggest one thing.

We cannot escape the unavoidable culmination and the making of important decisions.

The fact that between the two lights, the Moon is the one that forms the most aspects means that it is what we feel that will eventually make all the difference under this Scorpionic Full Moon.

It is our emotions that will set the motion and under this perspective it is fortunate that the Moon conjuncts Jupiter and is making a trine aspect to Neptune, because we are inspired.

We intuitively trust that after some initial unrest something good will turn out.

Epilogue

This Full Moon in Scorpio is a critical time especially for those having personal planets close to the 9th degree of the fixed cross. Depending on the houses where it falls on our personal chart it may mean:

  • Issues that first appeared at the end of January have now reached a culmination point.
  • Moving to a new house as a result of long felt emotional turmoil with family members.
  • Changes within marital dynamics result in actions that set us on a completely new course.
  • For some women, the realization that emotional intimacy matters more than material security becomes an achieved certainty.
  • For some men, passionate feelings for a woman, that were put aside in favor of serenity, reawaken and the game is still on.

One thing is sure…however it may affect us, this is a Full Moon that will be strongly felt.
