A confusing and foggy Full Moon that stirs emotions and compels us to find our way through an unclear path takes place on December 15.

This Full Moon features the Moon in Gemini opposite the Sun in Sagittarius.
Each Full Moon is a culmination of emotions and situations, and this one peaks discussions, communication issues, matters with siblings and relatives, as well as transportation issues, so be cautious on the road while driving.
It is also worth mentioning that the previous moon we had occurring so close to a square to Neptune was the New Moon on June 18, 2023, on which date exactly(!!) we had the implosion of the Titan submersible that was lost forever in the depths of the Ocean! Therefore, with this moon, issues related to ships, the sea, submarines, and possibly tsunamis may arise on a cosmic level.
Now on a personal and psychological level, which is what concerns most of us, this Full Moon creates an internal conflict because in order to to feel free, carefree, and optimistic we must first examine both sides of a situation. Emotionally we waver between two or more choices, and we try to articulate our feelings, we struggle to understand and communicate how we feel; yet the big picture remains elusive.
Our psyche is mutable and sensitive due to discussions and words exchanged in recent days, seeking security in understanding how and why things are.
The energy of this Full Moon in Gemini leaves little room for clarity as the square it makes to Neptune brings only paralysis of thought. Ambiguity and indecision arise as our soul weighs pros and cons, knowing deep down that choices are necessary and must be made. It’s better to avoid making significant decisions since our judgment may not be clear.
Our optimism is tested as recent disappointments burden us with worries, making the path forward unclear. Neptune in Pisces fosters fantasies and wishful thinking at best, and distorted images regarding our truth and the truth of important persons we face and interact with, at worst.
Mercury is stationary in Sagittarius, ready to go direct two days later; for now, thoughts and revisions prevent our minds from resting or making decisions. Caution and calmness are advised because we may speak bluntly and provocatively—expressing our truth or what we believe to be true—resulting in words that could hurt.
Despite our efforts to communicate effectively, avoiding misunderstandings will be difficult since what we say may differ from others’ interpretations.
In this unclear landscape created by the energy of this Full Moon, every step requires careful consideration. The square between Mercury and Saturn does not favor us either as it brings gloominess, melancholic thoughts, and an inability to act. It feels as if we are carrying the weight of the world while responsibilities clash with our desire to feel carefree.
This square weakens us mentally as we believe that changing circumstances is beyond our capabilities. The good news is that these limitations are self-imposed; we can overcome them if we choose to do so. We need to look beyond the dual perspective we’ve created—stepping out of black-and-white thinking—and with patience as Mercury goes direct after December 17th, we can gradually discern more possibilities.
Fortunately, Mars’s trine from Leo to Mercury—the ruler of this Full Moon in Sagittarius—will help. Although Mars is retrograde indicating that some things need to be done differently, being in Leo allows it to boost our confidence. It seems that the days following this moon will resemble a light growing gradually brighter, that will slowly dispel confusion and fog.
This moon brings mental overstimulation and stirs thoughts and concerns; however, this mental process will ultimately yield substance and essence.
The aspecting trine of Venus from Aquarius to Jupiter in Gemini on December 20 will bring optimism as it appears that as days pass by, we will feel better; we will objectify situations through collective actions rediscovering our personal value.
Our minds will calm down and find peace again allowing us to engage in significant discussions leading to beneficial conclusions, while at the same time expressing feelings of love.
The solution will emerge;
For now it remains hidden within the deceptive silver-green glow of a moon that simply wants to show you a distorted reflection of yourself.
