Some decisions are as important as walking on the silver blade of a razor and trying to balance without falling and without cutting yourself.

The New Moon in Aries, which takes place on April 1 is a bittersweet Moon. It has two faces and invites us to choose through its completely mixed grid of energies how to express them and which of the two sides we will ultimately lean towards.

Aries’ impulsive energy is full of excitement and impatience. It calls us to action or reaction. It’s either a restart or a completely new beginning after coming full circle. Ego and individualism or redefining the ego and renewing it.

“We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploringWill be to arrive where we startedAnd know the place for the first time.”

T.S. Elliot

We shall not cease, the poet writes, and then immediately goes on to talk about the end of exploration. End and beginning simultaneously, and infinitely, for the beginning and the end are the same locally but are different temporally, and existence itself is but a circle, within circles, within circles.

The full cycle of the Sun and Moon around the Zodiac brings us again to the first Zodiac of the endless Journey, Aries. It brings us back to the same point from where we started but we are called to look at ourselves and our relationships again with new eyes.

The conjunction of Chiron and this New Moon has on one hand the power to close cycles of trauma and to heal by inviting us to a new beginning.

But on the other hand, if we don’t consciously handle the energy of this moon, and if we don’t act equipped with the wisdom of the Master Centaur, we will only taste the bitter poison of rejection.

The New Moon in Aries is about healing in relationships of all kinds and about cleansing our own selfish attitudes.

Some days before, the squares of Venus and Mars to Uranus intensified and brought tensions in relationships.

Shortly thereafter, Venus’ conjunction with Saturn brought, in its positive manifestation, introversion and maturity, inviting us to consider what is worthwhile and what is not, and in its worst, detachment, numbness and deprivation of our joy.

This moon marks a new beginning just before two important conjunctions. That of Mars and Saturn in the sign of Aquarius on April 5th and that of Jupiter and Neptune in the sign of Pisces on April 12th.

The first is a difficult conjunction which asks us to arm ourselves with patience. It requires tempered reactions… It wants us not to force situations but instead to move slowly, calmly, responsibly, and most importantly without emotional outbursts and anger.

It is an aspect which requests maximum maturity and which in its good manifestation characterizes responsible leaders and gives management ability. From the sign of Aquarius, it calls us to act for the collective and the common, far from fixations and stuck ideas.

The second works completely in the opposite direction.

It is hope. It is vision. It is expansion of the soul and connecting to the universal. It summons higher frequencies through forgiveness.

It is satisfaction for the soul, as the beautiful, the pure, and the unconditional are both the aspiration and the ideal.

We empatize. Forgive, we are moved because the soul is part of the universe and it is only the soul’s OWN truth that is in alignment with the Divine Plan.

Jupiter conjunct Neptune is an aspect which if we are honest with our Soul will elevate us and lead us away from self-deception, and disappointments.

Three conjunctions (New Moon-Chiron, Mars-Saturn, Jupiter-Neptune), six possible manifestations which will only be determined by our free will and our degree of consciousness.

Poison, bitterness, anger and disappointment the completely negative extreme. Healing, cleansing, accountability of actions and a renewed vision infused with dreaming, the positive.

The Moon’s Nodes reflect the silver of the Moon and upon the thin silver blade of karma, we walk these days, towards the destiny that WE will create with our choices.

Venus in a separating square to the Lunar Nodes has already brought the first turning point regarding relationships.

Mars in an applying square to the Lunar Nodes is climaxing decisions and as ruler of the New Moon will trigger either a daring new beginning or an explosive new ending.

Saturn square to the Lunar Nodes, the Lord of Time and Karma, laughs as he knows he holds the keys for the fate of those of us who will not take it in our own hands.

And finally Jupiter and Neptune in a trine and a sextile to the Lunar Nodes have the last word and color the picture of the dream, that you who is reading these lines is seeing and dreaming…

Yet now…with New Eyes.
