This new moon affects all zodiac signs depending on the area of the personal chart where it occurs.
It strongly influences Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces individuals born from the middle of the first decan to the end of the second decan due to the positions of Mercury and Jupiter participating in this new moon, significantly coloring its effects.
It also impacts those of you who have personal planets, the Ascendant, or the Midheaven at degrees 05° to 20° of these signs.
This new moon tests our optimism through difficulties in communication, excesses in thinking, and feelings of frustration and disappointment that we must confront.
Only by realizing the bigger picture, staying focused on it, and moving away from the many options we will have can we overcome the challenges this moon brings.

Realism and responsible decisions are necessary. Wanting to get along with everyone and having the universe be one big celebration does not apply to this new moon.
Choices are essential, as is weighing things carefully.
On one hand, we have Mercury in Sagittarius, which can see the **big picture** and wants to re-examine it since it is retrograde. It wants to replay over and over again what is desirable—what fills you with excitement, freedom, and optimism—making you run like a child to explore that beautiful landscape again.
On the other hand, Jupiter in Gemini is also retrograde; its opposition to Mercury in Sagittarius makes the big picture flicker and fill with static like a channel with interference.
The multiplicity of choices creates this interference that distracts you from your goal.
Thus, you lose sight of the forest—not for the tree—but because you want both the forest and the sea!
Jupiter in Gemini sees value while simultaneously understanding both sides of a situation but also greedily wants to reap positives from two or three different situations at once! Jupiter wants everything for himself so he can give you everything that is yours; however, this is excessive and unattainable in most cases.
