The Full Moon in Libra on the 16th of April is clearly a moon that affects, influences, brings to a critical point and redefines or ends relationships.

It occurs in a mix of positive as well as intensely difficult aspects and so works completely differently based on the point at which it falls in your chart.

Why is this Full Moon a bit more about our relationships than others?

In astrology, every full moon is an act of balance.

It is the culmination of a process that begins with the New Moon and culminates with the Full Moon.

During the full moon period our needs are experienced more acutely and come to the fore in the light of the Sun. The challenge is to bring together what we need with our desires.

We are therefore challenged with this Full Moon to create a balance on the Libra – Aries axis. This is the very axis of relationships in Astrology, since Aries is associated to the self and Libra with togetherness.

With the Moon in the Sign of Libra we try to reconcile our emotions, and find harmonious balances in how we interact with others around us.

Directly opposite her, the Sun in Aries, our conscious self, projects our individuality into these emotions and vigorously advocates an “I” greater than the “We”.

With this Full Moon in Libra on April the 16th, balancing this pressure is something that demands a lot of work!

It requires painful dissections and looking in depth at relationship issues that have been hidden for quite some time. Issues that are now coming to the surface and calling us to see our own “Shadow”.

We need to work on our darker sides. To face head on our own conditioning, jealousy, manipulation, power plays and cruelty.

Our own dark moons of Pluto. The snakes that are slithering in the coveted Garden of Eden that we dream of for ourselves and our loved ones.

This is the T-Square that Pluto makes with the Full Moon and ONLY if we cast the Light of self-analysis on our Shadows can we emerge from the darkness, empowered and with relationships renewed.

This would be difficult to achieve especially for Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorns born in the last five days of their Sign and who are receiving most of the pressure.

The Full Moon occurs four days after the Jupiter and Neptune conjunction in Pisces. The Moon in Libra, in 150° degrees aspect to this conjunction, raises the very question of how we can again find inspiration and share a common dream with our partner, without losing ourselves at the same time.

Will we make it or will we sever the relationship permanently?

And Time – Saturn…

on one side comes to help, as it brings responsibility, accountability and truth in expressing our feelings when we have those important conversations.

But on the other side it brings, the burden of choice to ALL of us  as it will be squaring the Nodes of the Moon until late Fall, calling us to take our destiny into our own hands!

Take your time… think hard…

Speak your truth if tensions and discussions with your other half arise under this Moon.

Hopefully Mercury in conjunction to Uranus forms a very favorable sextile to Venus, and so conversations between you and your partner are favoured.

For those of you that are single, this Full Moon will stir up strong feelings of loneliness and the need to be in a relationship. It will leave a bittersweet feeling that something needs to change within you in how you approach and what you seek from a relationship.

It will be something like a psychoanalysis into the loneliness of longing for connection…

…and the shadows will be flickering on the wall of self-protection one erects when one is simply afraid to see oneself through the mirror of another’s eyes.

On a more positive note, the sextile that Uranus and Mercury make to Venus may, for those of you who single, provide opportunities for flirting and new acquaintances. Especially if you have personal planets at 11°- 14° degrees of Taurus, Pisces, Capricorn, Scorpio, Cancer, Leo, Aquarius.

This is a difficult Full Moon at the outset, but it will work supportively in the end I would like to believe. And that is because in yet another positive aspect, the two Lights, a few days after the Full Moon, will make beautiful aspects with Mars.

The Sun sextile to Mars, and the Moon trine to Mars, and so will be channelling the initial pressure of this Moon into decisions made mutually, into taking action, into refreshed vitality, or simply… into pure sexual passion!

I wish you all to manage the particularly intense energy of this Full Moon in Libra in the best possible way. To make the necessary incisions and to take the best possible decisions, for yourself first of all!

FULL MOON IN ARIES 13 OCTOBER 2019

The Full Moon takes place at 20°13’ of the Sign of Aries. It mainly brings upset and crisis to Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn persons,  who are born in the last days of the second decan, or in the first days of the third decan, as well as to those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 18° – 22° degrees.

It also affects Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius persons who are born within the first days of their Sign, as well as to those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 04° – 05° degrees of the Signs mentioned, since they are under parallel pressure from the Venus – Uranus opposition.

A Full Moon that brings repressed feelings to the surface and shakes relationships, is taking place on the night of the 13th of October.

Full Moons are always a beautiful spectacle. The disk of the Moon hovers majestically lit, amidst the darker sea of the sky, gleaming in white marble hues, and stirring awe inside us.

In Astrology a Full Moon’s energy may be more difficult or more easy. This happens because a Full Moon usually marks a peak of sentiments that comes within the contrasting energies of the Sun and the Moon. So the outcome becomes more harmonious or more dynamic, depending on which aspects are formed at the time of the Full Moon’s occurrence.

The case with this Full Moon in Aries is that it is a great amplifier of emotions.

With the Moon in the Sign of Aries, we may feel the impulse of the soul to act. It may be as if a spring of emotions that are overwhelming need to be expressed.

How?

Where?

When?

The headlong way of the Aries is not the best way to express how we feel during this particular Full Moon. And this is because, under the intensity of planet Pluto that is making a T-Square with the Two Lights, all hell may break loose.

You see, this Full Moon happens on the axis of Aries – Libra that relates to finding a balance between ourselves and the others.

This is the relationship axis in astrology, and in this particular case, there is a high pressure as the two lights are both steeped in the Plutonian Energy. With this Full Moon in Aries, we may feel as if somehow a dark veil has fallen on our psyche, a cloth covering smothering desires.

The Moon is in Aries and this place makes her power – aggressive, and argumentative. It is very easy that we color our deep and repressed feelings with antagonism or even anger.

Watch out for anger.

Psychological urges for power and control may also arise in relationships.

It becomes difficult to maintain the balance.

It is now the time for the root causes, the dark emotions, and the psychological power plays to come to the front.

Instinctual moods, possessiveness, jealousy.

Resisting “the YOU in ME”,

We watch the power plays of a couple performing in a lavishly decorated room that contrasts the emotional pressure that is felt.

This is just a piece of the couple’s dialogue:

“Neither of us wants to mature. That’s the reason we fight and torment each other and cry. Neither of us wants to grow up.”

– Ingmar Bergman, From the Life of the Marionettes.

FULL MOON IN ARIES 13 OCTOBER 2019

In this dark scenery, another aspect is added.

Some 23 hours before the Full Moon, Venus has made an exact opposition with Planet Uranus.

Venus is already colored by the Scorpionic energy since it has entered the Sign of Scorpio on the 8th of October.

How we relate, what we like, our desires, are now within an environment of intense emotions, that either suffocate the gentler expression of the planet or on the contrary intensify its dark side, dragging us into taboo zones.

And here is where the planet Uranus comes in, as Venus is in opposition with it.

Those who are single seek intense and unconventional pleasure, while those that feel pressured in their relationship are very unpleased.

The singles become obsessive for the excitement that cannot last, and those in relations are in need of “fresh air” out from the dark scenery, but change does not come easily.

“Neither of us wants to mature. Neither of us wants to grow up.”

In the echo of this line that is heard in the background, lies the lesson of the combined energy that Uranus and Pluto bring under this grey Full Moon.

This is a period of transformation. Deep buried aspects of our personality and desires which are illuminated with this Full Moon have to be addressed both solo and together.

This is a period of awakening. An awakening to a more genuine expression of ourselves that will either help or will eventually end, not only those relationships that are possessive and make us feel being non-free, but also those relationships, that although they do not belong to the previous category, on the other hand, do not allow openness, permissiveness and a healthy exchange in opinions and desires.

This is where the path that leads away from the journey into the underworld lies. We may use this crisis to evolve into the relationship. Το Grow Up. Το Mature.

This is the lesson of this Moon, for Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn persons born in the last days of the second decan and in the first days of the third decan.

This is the lesson for Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius persons, born in the first days of their Signs.

P.S. There are some helping aspects in this Full Moon.

One is the trine-sextile aspects that the two lights make with planet Jupiter, in a wedge formation that aids the tension.

The second is the magnificent trine that Mercury in Scorpio makes to Neptune in Pisces.

These aspects bring warm feelings, gentleness, generosity, openness, honesty, inspired thinking and spirituality, and they do work very positively for Pisces, Scorpio, Cancer, Virgo, and Taurus persons, of the middle second decan and the first days of the third decan.

But in my humble opinion, these aspects cannot balance the amplified intensity that this Full Moon is having for the Signs of the Cardinal Cross and the Fixed Signs of the first days.

This may be for the better…

Sometimes the shedding the old skin and the transforming into our new selves, worths all the pain that may come as a consequence of this very process of transformation.

Embrace the potential for transformation that this Full Moon holds, by confronting fearlessly everyone that oppresses or possesses you.

Do not fret and do not compromise!

But dear girls, do not forget first and foremost to confront fearlessly, the dark side of yourselves.

Fight it, and come out as winners.

The true Moon in Aries, Amazon style.

You know. 😉

THE BEZOS COUPLE DIVORCE ASTROLOGY

Sharing is caring:

Jeff Bezos and MacKenzie Bezos are divorcing after 25 years of marriage. What are the eclipses having to do with that?

Jeff the brilliant corporate titan of Amazon, one of the most successful entrepreneurs of our age, has a strong earth element in his chart, with his Sun placed at 21°36’ of Cap.

The couple has been strongly affected in the past 18 months by Pluto’s transit.

MacKenzie felt it first, during August and late November 2017 when it squared her Sun at 17° 34’ Aries, and Jeff has the planet approaching to conjunct his Sun, right now in less than 1° orb.

Pluto urged both into relentless transformation but it is the Eclipses in the Capricorn – Cancer axis

that give the final blow.

The July 13 2018 Solar Eclipse fell opposite of Jeff Bezos’ Sun, while last week’s Eclipse at 15°25’ Capricorn was square MacKenzie’s Sun.

Today January the 10th, one day after the announcement, Mars is squaring MacKenzie’s Natal Uranus.

What we are witnessing is a trailer of the building pressure and the decisive events that many of the Cardinal Signs will experience throughout 2019 and within the first half of 2020.

FULL MOON IN CANCER 22 DECEMBER 2018

FULL MOON IN CANCER 22 DECEMBER 2018: Brief Repose

Sharing is caring:

FULL MOON IN CANCER 22 DECEMBER 2018

The Full Moon takes place at 00°and 49’ of the Cancer Sign. It strongly affects Cancer and Capricorn Signs and also Aries and Libra Signs which are born in the first days, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 00° – 02° degrees of the Cardinal Cross.

The proximity of the Full Moon to the last degrees of the Mutable Cross affects also Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces persons that are born in the last 2 days of their Sign, or those hose having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 28°-29° degrees of the Mutable Cross

Α watery and earthly Full Moon in Cancer takes places on the 22nd of December.

This is the last full moon of the year and quite appropriately it is a Full Moon that can be seen as a brief repose in front of the homely Christmas fireplace, prior to the coming New Year and the difficult New Moon Eclipse that will take place on January the 6th.

All full moons trigger emotions and is a time of culmination, and this is all the more true when the full moon is taking place in the Sign of Cancer. Here the Moon is in its domicile Sign and emotional sensitivity is heightened even more.

A Full Moon in Cancer contrasts emotion with ambition, home with work, caring with responsibility.

In order to be able to provide for others we must find the provisions and this may sometimes makes us so absorbed in the process of finding the means, that we forget our initial cause. A full moon in Cancer usually poses a dilemma between our need to feel secured and share love with our family, and our desire to be respected and successful.

Fortunately this Full Moon in Cancer seems to remind us that which is essential as it highlights our protectiveness and aids in its expression.

A role model for success

The Moon in Cancer is our deepest need for security. We need to protect and to nurture and to feel in return nurtured and protected. The bliss is domestic and the nights are tender when spent with family and loved ones.

Our maternal feelings are brought to the fore under this Full Moon in Cancer that seems to fulfill perfectly our need to cater for those we love while simultaneously fills us with the confidence that we are competent achievers.

Our role model as the provider / supporter is acknowledged from those important in our life, family, lovers, or partners, and their recognition of our efforts, makes us shine. The more we care for (Moon in Cancer) the more respected we become (Sun in Capricorn).

This is not the case with most full moons in Cancer, where usually such a balance between professional life and family time is what is asked from us to find, but this specific Full Moon in Cancer comes with its promise of fulfillment as it directly aspects the midpoint of Jupiter / Pluto at 00°02’ of Capricorn.

The Jupiter / Pluto midpoint is potential for growth and wealth.

A growth that can be spiritual -the result of transformative processes that expand us, or material, wealth that comes as the result of patience and accomplishments in our chosen profession.

It is fortunate that the Sun of the lunation conjuncts this midpoint, an aspect that can bring success and ambitions met in professional matters.

The Moon, directly opposite this midpoint, channels this growth potential right into the family dynamics. Success comes as the result of putting our hearts in what we do not only by self-ambition but also out of a genuine affection for our beloved ones in a responsible and practical manner.

Excitement and change

The reason why this Full Moon can so constructively integrate the inherent polarity between Cancer and Capricorn, is that not only it is in aspect to the Jupiter / Pluto midpoint, but that the opposition between the two Lights is also greatly aided by Uranus.

The planet of heightened awareness is at 28°41’ Aries making a sextile and trine aspect to the Moon and the Sun respectively.

The Moon sextile to Uranus helps us to channel unconscious drives to home and family and to express them therein with truth and originality. Excitement becomes the prevailing mood that elevates the spirits of our loved ones.

The Sun trine to Uranus is ingenuity and willing for a change and moving to new territory. Support is found and opportunities arise as we intuitively let go with the flow and we remain open to new demands. We can easily make progress or try something new now.

FULL MOON IN CANCER 22 DECEMBER 2018

How it all comes together.

Easily and going with the flow we can deal with any changes in professional and domestic life. Sudden or new circumstances have the potential for growth and feelings are an amalgam of mature and yet tender emotions.

The emotionality of this Full Moon, brought on by the water element that is strong in the chart, with three planets, Chiron and the North Node placed in Water Signs, is not a Cancer neediness.

Nor is it, with three planets in the Earth Sign of Capricorn, the emotional coldness that the Sign usually displays.

This full moon is the reliable and responsible expression of tenderness and caring, of placing the importance to the home, to the family and to our very own sense of where we belong, regardless of the changes that happen to the outside world and our public affairs.

This Full Moon in Cancer is in one sentence:

 “HOME,

is where our true self is expressed, in loving what we do and in caring for what we love”.

Yes, this is a Full Moon that has growth potential and can bring opportunities, and depending on the astrological House that it activates in our personal horoscope, some of its possible manifestations may be:

Request your Astrology Reading by Andrew Ifandis

  • Relationships can be renewed, by us showing tenderness and responsibility
  • We are cared for and we are acknowledged for our efforts from those closest to us and our self-esteem is increased
  • Changes in professional and working environment are positive or surprising without disrupting our sense of familiar
  • Pending financial matters essential for our security are now coming to a good close
  • Opportunities for selling or buying property may suddenly appear
  • If we are searching for a new house to move into, we may find one that is both comfy and worth its money.
  • It is a great period to show to those we are romantically associated with, how much we care, and this will reflect back to us

However this Full Moon in Cancer will eventually play out, it surely marks the holiday season as an ideal time to enjoy with family and loved ones, and to relax in the comfort of the Christmas hearth, protected and secure.

I wish to all a most fulfilling Full Moon in Cancer, to enjoy the holiday season and a very Merry Christmas!

The New Moon takes place at 15°11’ of the Sign of Scorpio. It mainly affects Taurus and Scorpio persons and also Leo and Aquarius persons which are born in the second decan, as well as those having personal planets, points or their Ascendant, near the 12° – 17° degrees of the Fixed Cross.

A beautiful, inspiring and empowering New Moon in Scorpio takes place on November the 7th.

The New Moon is the time when the Sun and the Moon come together at the same area of the sky as they cycle the celestial dome and their meeting marks a reset in the ever-changing influx of the lunar and solar energies.

What we intuitively need (the Moon), is now made conscious, and we can use our creative energy (the Sun), to initiate, make a new start or to refresh actions or relationships.

New Moon in Scorpio

When the Sun is in Scorpio our will is strengthened, desires are deep and everything takes on an existential quality. All issues are approached with a “matter of life and death” attitude. They are important, because we ourselves feel important and we can display intensity of will.

The Moon in Scorpio is intense emotions, buried emotions, taboo emotions. It is supercharged psychological intensity, urges of the psyche powerful enough to transform.

The lunar emotional depth when combined with the solar strong will, make every New Moon in Scorpio a potential powerhouse of renewed emotional stamina.

Each New Moon in Scorpio is sheer determination to go after our desires and it may act as a boost for transformation in the area of life denoted by the house in which it falls on our personal horoscope.

These qualities make this specific New Moon in Scorpio on November the 7th to be exactly what we need after the three difficult moons that have preceded it.

At last, after a period when we had to cope with difficult emotions and sudden changes, we can now regain our power and renew our emotional strength.

The power surge that this lunation gives, is amplified by the fact that the Sun and the Moon are not only in Scorpio but also in a sextile aspect to Pluto, the Sign’s ruler and so ruler of this New Moon.

The sextile of Sun to Pluto brings opportunities for empowerment on personal and professional level.

It is an aspect that means that we now can fulfill desires with little effort or that we can join our power with that of persons of authority or financial status and to achieve more. We are focused, determined and concentrated and there is no need to force or manipulate matters or persons.

At the same time the Moon is in a sextile aspect to Pluto. Any intense feelings of the previous period were a necessary cleaning of the dark places of the soul. And though this may have been a painful or exhausting process, it made the necessary room for us, and we can now again feel how strong we can be.

We have emotional control and we are again able to share deeply and intensely, no more being recipients of emotional blackmail or feeling vulnerable, but ready to trust again.

The New Moon is also in a trine aspect to the planet Neptune in the Sign of Pisces.

This aspect makes us creative, feels us with inspiration and make us easily sense the ambient vibes. It can work marvels in our relationships. Now we are in touch with our most spiritual and we care for what is cherished in our hearts. We see the other’s point of view, we walk in their shoes and we can comfort or show that we really understand.

This New Moon in Scorpio is acute perceptiveness that brings renewed spiritual connection (Neptune in Pisces) and regained psychological empowerment (Pluto in Capricorn).

It makes us ponder deeply on those issues relating to the area of life that it falls on our personal horoscope, brings intuitive understanding, makes us feel empowered and helps with closure of the past and moving on to new territory.

NEW MOON IN SCORPIO NOVEMBER 2018

Why is that?

Why this New Moon has such an ending quality and at the same time is a new beginning?

Why this New Moon works as a closure or as the final paragraph before moving on to the next chapter?

If we examine the chart of the New Moon we see that Jupiter, Uranus and the Nodal Axis are all situated at 29th degree. This degree in astrology is one of the critical degrees and is usually connected with endings.

The Critical Anaretic Degrees

In the chart of this New Moon, Jupiter is about to move from Scorpio into Sagittarius.

It is now time to move on from the truth of the soul to the truth of the world, expanding outwardly and not inwardly, but before doing so we have to face for one last time our deepest emotions, out very truth.

At the same time Uranus, as it moves retrograde, is on the 29th last degree of Aries Sign. Issues relating to how we can embrace freedom and individuality without being self-centered and disruptive to our relations are again of concern.

In addition to that, Venus is separating from an opposition to Uranus, an aspect that was exact one week before the New Moon, and that has created tensions, or to some of us considerations to ending relations or to others even actual break-ups.

The Lunar Nodes are also at 29°57’, critical degrees, as they have just entered into the Capricorn – Cancer axis something that denotes a shifting of energy that will bring the emphasis on a totally new area of life (chapter) for our personal horoscope for the next 1.5 years.

Chiron

This repetition of the 29th degrees gives this ending quality to this New Moon.

Accompanying this feeling, Chiron the wounded healer is at 28° 20’ of Pisces.

From there it makes a trine aspect to Jupiter and a sextile and trine aspect to the Lunar Nodes, infusing the lunation with healing energy.

Jupiter is also trine – sextile to the Nodes while Uranus is in a tight square to them at the same time. The one planet bringing sudden changes, the other bringing advancement and luck.

We can now see how the evolutionary path of the Nodes will lead to a new chapter.

Inevitable change and disruption of our security was necessary before us moving into to a whole new territory that has a promise of optimism and expansion. The new will come after having first made closure with the past. This is a necessary process for us, and we have to move on either with our relations re-invigorated or with a new version of our empowered self.

Epilogue

This New Moon in Scorpio inspires and moves us within higher frequencies of spiritual rebirth. It is either a renewal of the value that we receive from others or a renewal of our own self.
