Saturn is the planet of matter, reality, limits and difficulties. It is the planet of patience and the reward for our labors. It brings difficulties but also wisdom.

It karmically recycles time, bringing us back around again and again to people and circumstances till we learn our lesson and become matured.

From June the 4th, through to October the 23rd, Saturn will be moving retrograde in the sign of Aquarius.

During the retrograde period the Grand Master will be confronting us with a series of questions and reconsiderations that have to do with how we function collectively and with how authentic we are.

With where our freedom does lie and also with what our limitations are.

Some of the topics of the rigorous yet wise Master’s examinations include:

  • How do we set our boundaries towards others?
  • Do we not do it at all, resulting in burdening ourselves with the responsibilities of others just for the sake of the group, the team or the relationship?
  • Are there people who upset us with their behavior precisely because we haven’t let them know to what extent certain things are permitted?
  • On the other hand, is it us who are the ones restricting and repressing others because we are inflexible in some opinions?
  • Are we distancing ourselves too much from our emotions and appear cold and strict when we are really not?
  • Do we need to relax and let things flow instead of trying to organize and control everything?
  • Does our freedom ends where the other person’s freedom begins?
  • Are we being authentic or are we repressing our individuality and acting as others expect of us?

 

In addition to the various questions it raises, the Saturn retrograde period has also a very strong learning and developmental quality as it is a process of internalizing responsibilities as well as maturing.

It is also likely during this period that we get in touch with some of our fears.

Fear is sometimes experienced as a paralyzing emotion that invalidates all choice and imprisons us emotionally. In reality HOWEVER, our fears are nothing more than the mere psychological expression of limitations that we experience in our daily lives.

But if we think about it, these are limitations and difficulties that we ourselves have imposed on ourselves, precisely because in the past we did not dare to set our limits, and as a result, other people and situations imposed theirs on us, so that now we have little or no choice.

When we become aware of what these limitations or difficulties are, it is completely LIBERATING and this has the effect of redefining who we are in relation to others, in relation to situations, and most importantly, in relation to ourselves.


So throughout the period of Saturn’s retrograde it’ s the best time to set our boundaries, to face what is restricting us, to see what it is that scares us, and to overcome our hesitations.

Ο Κρόνος είναι ο πλανήτης της ύλης, της πραγματικότητας, των ορίων και των δυσκολιών. Είναι ο πλανήτης της υπομονής και της ανταμοιβής των μόχθων μας. Φέρνει δυσκολίες αλλά και σοφία.

Ανακυκλώνει καρμικά το χρόνο, γυρνώντας μας ξανά και ξανά μπροστά σε ανθρώπους και καταστάσεις μέχρι να καταλάβουμε το μάθημα μας και να ωριμάσουμε εξελικτικά.

Από σήμερα 4 Ιουνίου, και μέχρι τις 23 Οκτωβρίου, ο Κρόνος θα είναι ανάδρομος στο Ζώδιο του Υδροχόου.

Κατά την περίοδο της αναδρομής ο Μεγάλος Δάσκαλος θα μας φέρει αντιμέτωπους με μια σειρά από ερωτήματα και αναθεωρήσεις που έχουν να κάνουν με το πως λειτουργούμε συλλογικά και πόσο αυθεντικοί είμαστε.

Με το πού βρίσκεται η ελευθερία μας αλλά και ποια είναι τα όριά μας.

Μερικά από τα θέματα των εξετάσεων του αυστηρού αλλά και σοφού Δασκάλου είναι:

  • Πως θέτεις τα όρια σου απέναντι στους άλλους;
  • Μήπως δεν το κάνεις καθόλου με αποτέλεσμα να φορτώνεσαι ευθύνες άλλων μόνο και μόνο για χάρη του συνόλου, της ομάδας ή της σχέσης σου;
  • Υπάρχουν άνθρωποι που σε στενοχωρούν με τη συμπεριφορά τους ακριβώς γιατί δεν τους έχεις δώσει να καταλάβουν μέχρι ποιο σημείο επιτρέπονται κάποια πράγματα;
  • Μήπως από την άλλη είσαι εσύ αυτός ή αυτή που περιορίζεις και καταπιέζεις τους άλλους γιατί είσαι άκαμπτος σε κάποιες απόψεις;
  • Μήπως αποστασιοποιείσαι υπερβολικά από το συναίσθημα σου και δείχνεις απόμακρη και αυστηρή ενώ δεν είσαι;
  • Μήπως πρέπει να χαλαρώσεις και να αφεθείς στη ροή των πραγμάτων αντί να προσπαθείς να οργανώσεις και να ελέγξεις τα πάντα;
  • Η ελευθερία σου σταματάει εκεί που αρχίζει η ελευθερία του άλλου;
  • Είσαι αυθεντικός / αυθεντική ή καταπιέζεις την ατομικότητά σου και δρας έτσι όπως αναμένουν οι άλλοι από εσένα;

 

Η περίοδος της αναδρομής του Κρόνου πέρα από τα διάφορα ερωτήματα που δημιουργεί, έχει επίσης πολύ έντονο μαθησιακό και εξελικτικό χαρακτήρα καθώς είναι μια διαδικασία εσωτερικοποίησης ευθυνών αλλά και ωρίμανσης.

Είναι επίσης πιθανό τώρα να έρθουμε σε επαφή με κάποιους από τους φόβους μας. Ο φόβος βιώνεται κάποιες φορές σαν ένα παραλυτικό συναίσθημα που ακυρώνει κάθε επιλογή και μας φυλακίζει συναισθηματικά.

Στην πραγματικότητα ΟΜΩΣ οι φόβοι μας δεν είναι τίποτε άλλο παρά  η ψυχολογική έκφραση περιορισμών που βιώνουμε στην καθημερινότητα μας.

Όμως αν το καλοσκεφτούμε πρόκειται για περιορισμούς και δυσκολίες που εμείς οι ίδιοι έχουμε θέσει στον εαυτό μας, ακριβώς επειδή στο παρελθόν δεν τολμήσαμε να θέσουμε τα όρια μας, με αποτέλεσμα έτσι, άλλοι άνθρωποι και καταστάσεις να επέβαλαν τα δικά τους σε εμάς και έτσι τώρα να έχουμε ελάχιστες ή και καθόλου επιλογές.

Η συνειδητοποίηση του ποιοι είναι αυτοί η περιορισμοί ή αυτές οι δυσκολίες είναι εντελώς ΛΥΤΡΩΤΙΚΗ και έχει ως αποτέλεσμα τον επαναπροσδιορισμό μας απέναντι στους άλλους, απέναντι σε καταστάσεις, και το κυριότερο απέναντι στον ίδιο μας τον εαυτό.

 

Καθ’ όλη λοιπόν την περίοδο που διαρκεί η αναδρομή του Κρόνου είναι η καλύτερη ευκαιρία για να θέσετε τα όριά σας, για να αντιμετωπίσετε ότι σας περιορίζει, να δείτε τί είναι αυτό που σας φοβίζει, και να ξεπεράσετε τους δισταγμούς σας.

SATURN STATIONS DIRECT IN CAPRICORN – 18 SEPTEMBER 2019

Saturn stations direct in Capricorn on September the 18th 2019 after a long period of being retrograde since April 30th 2019. Saturn will remain direct for eight months, and in its direct motion that will last until the 11th of May 2020, it will transit the Sign of Capricorn from 13°55′ up to the end of the Sign. It will then enter the Sign of Aquarius and move up to 01°57′  where it will turn retrograde once more.

It recycles the karmic time, bringing us again and again in front of persons or situations, until we do comprehend our lesson and mature.

During the period of Saturn’s retrograde motion, we may have been dealing with issues related to:

  • How do we set our limits towards others? Is it that we may not do it, and as a consequence it is us that we take on their responsibilities?
  • Are there persons who make us sad with their behavior precisely because we have not make them understand our boundaries and up to where certain things are allowed?
  • On the other hand, are we the ones who restrict and oppress others because we may be rigid in our views or very strict?
  • Is social and professional recognition so important that we are to be deprived of leisure and joy for their sake?
  • Why don’t we relax and let go in the flow of things instead of trying to organize and control everything?

The period where Saturn is retrograde is characteristic for its strong learning and evolutionary influence and part of this process is to also come to grips with our fears. Fear is often experienced as a paralyzed feeling that cancels our every choice and imprisons us emotionally. In reality, our fears are the psychological expression of the limitations we experience in our everyday life.

But if we think about it, these fears are the result of limitations and difficulties that we ourselves have placed upon us, precisely because in the past, we had not dared to set our limits and so other people and situations imposed their own on us, so now we only have few or no other choices at all.

This very awareness is redeeming and part of the inner process of re-defining boundaries and limits towards others, against situations and most importantly in ourselves.

With Saturn’s direct motion, all the previous considerations have been completed and a new period begins in which the above ferments are maturing within us, and we gradually start to practically apply what we have learned.

  • We reshape our boundaries towards others.
  • We become more confident about ourselves and our aspirations.
  • We face any difficulties with more rigor and with greater patience.
  • We achieve our goals by working more efficiently and in an organized manner.
  • We do not labor or strive and more importantly we do not oppress others if we have in the past.

At the karmic level, the Saturn Rx endoscopic process has accomplished its purpose and our “lesson” has been perceived.

Saturn’s direct motion through Capricorn, the sign of patience, work duty and responsibility brings truth and maturation allowing us to move forward for the next period, until May the 11th 2020, when Saturn will turn once more retrograde so us to repeat the lessons.

In the chart of his station, Saturn makes a sextile to Neptune in Pisces and is in a close conjunction with the South Node. Moon is making a trine aspect to Saturn while Mars is leaving with a separating trine.

Having absorbed the lessons of the retrograde motion, now it’s the time to:

  • Face our responsibilities (Saturn in Capricorn)
  • Work on the opportunities that are now present to make our dreams come true, starting with a realistic basis and with faith in our abilities. (Saturn sextile Neptune)
  • Exploit the wisdom and the lessons learned during the retrograde period.
  • Combine practical insight with disciplined ambition and make a desired career move (Mars trine Saturn)

Saturn stations direct in Capricorn on September the 6th 2018 after a long period of being retrograde since April 17th 2018. Saturn will remain direct for eight months, and in its direct motion that will last until the 30th of April 2019, it will transit the first two decans of the Sign of Capricorn.
